Most of the threads are pointless. I had a thought I made a thread. The other most recent threads was about Metallica and football. Obviously peoplz on this board are having difficulty finding something decent to talk about. So really you should thank me for giving you something to respond to and relieving some of your work boredom.
And AJ thanks for pointing out how my threads aren't worth responding to by responding to each one. You cannot create the illusion that I or anyone else can be less likable than yourself .

The historical context of what? the outward appearance? Its illusionary. You should get into Buddhism . I'm probably the only Satanic living Buddha in the area so I should be listened to. Lets just get this straight Obama is as cracker as black . Another rich half white ethnically (more white culturally) president. The last actor played dumb this one plays smart. Neither were ever really in charge of themselves. The historical context is imaginary. We will never be out of Iraq as long as the money masters can make the excuse that we are close to victory. Obama will be to that as Nixon was to Vietnam.

- Nixon prolonged the war that he promised to end quickly.
- as little as the celebration of a first Black president that seems to be the main drive behind the General excitement surrounding the new Prez. As if that had signifigance when we still have a president that is just like all the others. I've read in numerous places how excited certian people were that the pattern of rich white presidents is being broken.

I find it troubling that in the punk and subculture which I thought were somewhat strongholds of dissent and distrust of power and Government coersion there is such an abandonment of healthy cynicism. Is everybody fucking blind?

We get a fucking semi liberal one now. Next we'll get a more conservative. No fucking change at all. We will still be dealing with imaginary money we will still be whoring out our Military as we did under Clinton and have always done. We will still not be reducing the power that the government can possess over the people. We will still have more people in prison than any other country in the world
What might change is that under Obama we can increase welfare to create a Nation of total dependence on the government. So that people will not realise their own power to create positive change through forming collectives. Not that I am against welfare But an increase at this time will just make less people rebel against capitalism and less to create their alternatives. Instead of autonomy the false progressive offers the chance to interlink into the web of interdependance.
There is going to be nothing revolutionary which is what it is being sold as. The concept of property will not be re thought. Environmentalism will not be a thing that is thought of as being soimething one has to be aware of at an individual level but as something that is to be the realm of buerocrats whom it will be our duty to obey. It wont accomplish much . Just enough to slightly entrap us while maintaining the illusion that the democrats and republicans are somewhat opposed and selling a different product. New crisis scenereos will crop up demanding new demands for sacrifice of Liberty. American aggresion will entangle us in more wars.

I'm not an Anarchist I'm a Libertarian. I've never preached anarchism at any time or during this thread. My brand of free market anticapitalism may exist in other places but was not copied . I think there will always be a state. It doesn't mean that people should practice increased subservience to their leaders and start falling in line which is what I see happening to a lot of people who I thought would always be suspicious of their government.

maybe its general apathy, but that's why i liked obama, do i think HE will personally change things no, but no single person (especially president) changes things, obama excites the masses which will then lead to motivation for people to make grass roots changes which is what truly leads to change. change comes from the people and inspiring people in general can only lead to good things, its all about the inspiration and giving hope to positive thinking, that is all that is needed to better ANYTHING
