come on out to Howler's for MAXIMUM WHO-PHORIA, Saturday January 17. local bands and assorted Who freaks doing the classics (and plenty of deeper cuts...) from all phases of the band's career.
Show starts at 9:00.
Admission is $5 or $3 with two donated canned goods.
there'll be a complete roster of bands once everything is order. and Tommy Amoeba (with whom i set up this show) made a badass flyer for this. soon as i get it from him, i will post it.
hope to see you there!!!

This is the one he posted to our myspace.. but, he didn't list bands, times or any other pertinant info. If there's a newer version, someone should send it to me.

I'm pumped. The Who is the best band ever, it'll be interesting what people do with their songs. It would be cool to hear some different interpretations and none of this Fred Durst B.S.

so this is coming up here in two weeks.
and i can tell you now, from the latest list of bands, that it's gonna be pretty kickass. one of the most FUN shows you'll see (even though it's covers), i can personally guarantee it.

I also have it on good authority that there will be some birthday cake.. The owner's birthday and my own will be celebrated this night.
Joe, can I get that list along with other specs not on that flyer, like times, cost etc. ?

joe - there will be a community bass amp and drum kit. unfortunately, my little guitar amp is far from adequate for this.
however, you might able to ask one of the other bands about using their amp. it would definitely help w/ the setup between bands.
