So I would like a tech/geeky based section. For example I would start these two threads if such a section existed.
I do digital recording on my computer. Talk about hardware, software and such.
Also, more generally: My entire music collection is on my computer. Discuss organizing, backup solutions on what people use.
I know I can go to other boards to discuss this stuff, but I would be interested in a more local discussion.
I think there are other people on this board that do this kind of stuff, I hope they chime in as well.

We're kind of hesitant to create new forums because one of the main pieces of feedback we received from several people when the board began was that there were too many forums. After thinking about it for awhile though, we came up with a decent idea for the creation of new forums.
When someone suggests a new forum idea, we'll create it and monitor the activity for 2 weeks. At the end of the 2 weeks if there isn't considerable activity on the forum, or if it isn't being utilized by a decent number of members (more than just 3 or so), we'll remove it.
Sound good to you guys?

I've subscribed to Popular Mechanics and Popular Science for 14 years and now I also read Air & Space and computer magazines all the time. So long story short... I'm all about this.
