um, you're both retarded. you honestly see nothing wrong with rotten food and used condoms laying around the house? Well obviously they didn't just leave it there, that's why they hired a fucking maid.

the economy shit going on now is by far the worst in our lifetime. very few places are hiring, you know that, right? most places are in a hiring freeze. As somebody who has hired thirty people in the last week, (and still hiring more) I can say that while some places are in a hiring freeze, some places are not in a hiring freeze. Your situation is what you make of it. If you want to be a whiner who always has a convenient excuse for why he can't hack it in the real world, so be it. But don't look for sympathy. very few places are hiring right now. and that is true. 98% of cities unemployment has risen in the last year. how did anything i say infer that i cant hack it in the real world? or that im looking for sympathy from you? i said i hate where i live. im taking care of that as soon the economy gets a little better. it's not that i cant get a job. like i said, i turned down a very good offer in maryland several months ago. i didnt take it because i didnt want to live in that area. i make more than two times the average income in pittsburgh. im doing quite well for myself.

There must have been a million used condoms in my one roomates trash can and sometimes on the floor, we also used to light fireworks in the house. and andrew you must realize changing surroundings does NOT change attitude!!!

i make more than two times the average income in pittsburgh. im doing quite well for myself. the median household income for 2007 (the only year i can find) is $32,363 that means you would make 64, 726 and that means you would have enough money to move anywhere you want not to mention tons of money left to spend. hell you'd be rich in pittsburgh, why leave. also its really dumb to throw money to make yourself better than people. Also i doubt you make 64, 726 as a recent college grad

i didn't say you couldn't get hired but what i am really trying to tell you is that thinking the answer is just to leave doesn't exactly work how you think it will. I thought I always wanted to leave pittsburgh, not because i hate it but because i felt like there was nothing for me. It's hard to move somewhere where you don't know ANYONE and not only that but your whole attitude and outlook won't change just because you move. I had to really work hard to change that myself. All i'm saying is that moving isn't this "magical" fix. that's all

how did anything i say infer that i cant hack it in the real world? Well you come in and bitch about the city, its inhabitants, make condescending statements about both and then bitch and moan like a child about how you can't wait to get out. Then, when asked why you don't just get up and leave, you're nothing but an endless font of facts, figures and unfounded anecdotes to form petty excuses for why its not your fault that you haven't left yet but you can't find a single word to describe what you've done to rectify your situation. Instead of sitting around waiting for life to be delivered to you on a silver platter like some private-school princess who has never had to do anything for themselves, why don't you spend some of the energy you use PMSing about your life trying to fix it?

andrew...
i know you're a big Pens fan. i know it's kind of been "oh i love the Pens, i don't care about the Steelers." which is fine. liking one isn't better than the other, of course. but some folks like hockey over football. cool.
but if the Pens won the Stanley Cup against Detroit last year, you'd have wanted to be front and center for any kind of rally, celebration or parade they would have had. sure, it probably would not be at the sheer magnitude of the Steelers parade. but there would be drunks, they would be obnoxious, and you'd be there celebrating right alongside them. if anyone said "damn, those Pens fans are obnoxious," you'd be defending the whole thing till you were blue in the face. if the Steelers can be reduced to just playing a "game," then so can the Pens.
