call it arson is really amazing. i would go see this if it weren't at roboto.. if you live in the city, you should go to this.

i just have no interest in going there, it's nothing personal against the venue itself.

hopefully call it arson plays separate from that show somewhere else.

i probably wouldnt go to a roboto show by myself either. the crowd there is incredibly good at alienating people.
i've attended shows at both brillo and roboto by myself, and while brillo didn't exactly make me feel warm and fuzzy, the assholes at roboto are exactly that.

plus the sound was sub par when i was there last.. which was like.. maybe a year ago.. people didn't seem very happy to see an outsider there.. it's in an area i'm not even that familiar with, making it a hassle to go - as i have to drive 35 minutes to even get there. no one really to go with = not worth it..
i can total understand why you wouldn't like brillobox, but i'll say.. i spoke to the owner once and he was INCREDIBLE kind to me. so i think that changed a lot of preconceived notions about that place/venue from my perspective.. but are the kids that go there ALSO douches? absolutely.
sorry i didn't respond to you before .. i just didn't want to talk down on the show before it happened in case someone might feel discouraged by the remarks. i would want anyone in the position to see that band to see them..

yeah man, and i understand the "punk rock" venue mentality.. but i don't want to go to a show where the band doesn't sound great or at least.. alright... at that point i would rather listen to their cd.
