Sweet gawd I love Halloween. And Nick Cave, that creepy bastard. I just picked up the best of not too long ago and Dig! Lazarus! Dig!!! I'm pretty impressed with the new album. It's amazing how long that guy's been rocking out and STILL makes it sound good!

Dig! Lazarus! Dig! is great. I really really like the title track. Has anyone seen the Australian folk-movie that Nick Cave either produced/directed or wrote? It is about a broken band of outlaw brothers or something. I want to know if it is worth watching.
I have to agree that Halloween music is a effin blast. I forget to include Siouxsie & The Banshees in my playlist every year, and, inevitably, 12 hours after my party I get all pissed when I discover I completely overlooked this band. Also, Robert Smith played goth guitar? Awesome! Learn something new every day. Especially when I know shit about the Cure

I <3 the Cure. They're one of those bands who no matter how often you listen to them, they never get old!

I hear this about a lot of bands and it makes me really glad that I don't listen to the radio/watch MTV and the like. Ovation does get some good concerts on and I'll watch one from time to time, but that's about it. BTW, hope things started to look better for you last night, man.
