Yeppers.. I was actually surprised to see them on the original line up.
I'm not sure why because it was before I took over the booking here but the last time they played here was like 3 years ago and something or someone pissed them off.
They've been very weird with us since then. They've never been willing to discuss whatever the issue is so I just kind of wrote them off also.

and i was there... and joe played without his shirt on and me and jason made out. SLAM!!!! I dont kiss and tell. This was a really fun night. The drive home sing along was great. The show was really awesome as well. I dug Southseas Sneak - dude made me wish I practiced more. Or at all, really. Ukiah always makes my night, and is even more fucking intense every time I see them. Allies I hadnt seen in a really long time but after what I saw saturday night I definitely want to see them a lot more often. Super fucking rocking. The Lopez, I think, would have been a lot more fun if I had been (1) More drunk and (2) a lot less tired or, maybe, (3) they had been earlier in the set. I couldnt dig it as much as I wanted to. |

First.. thanks Joe for putting together and running a great show.
Second, on the subject of BBT Benefit - I'll let Joe Melba provide the details since he hasn't given them all to me yet.. but there will be a benefit for the BBT staff.
We figure The BBT itself has insurance and will be okay. But thier staff will be without income for at least a few weeks, so they are gonna do something here the night of the Bloomfield Halloween Parade (Wed, Oct. 29).
I'm sure details will be forthcoming. Wear costumes, scare kids in the parade, come on in and put a few bux in the kitty.. other fun and games TBA.
