Aydin was awesome. They really pull you into that hypnotic thing they create when they play. I'd like to check out their record - but I didnt have the cash that night - I have trouble, though, with how they may translate recorded. It seems like you kind of need to be there to get the full effect.
Colorist's, honestly, didnt do it for me. They were very talented, but I just wasnt really in the mood for that sort of thing that night. Especially not after Ukiah rocked house.

I thought Colorist was awesome. Talked to the dudes (both named Charlie) after their set. Really cool.
But then again.. I've really been into Coltrane and whiskey lately, too.
