So incase you kids didn't know, Nintendo launch WiiWare, which is their way of letting you download new games as opposed to the Virtual Console. There were about 5 games released for it this week, all 3rd party titles.
I downloaded FF:MLaaK and let me tell you it is addicting as fuck. It is mainly a Sim type game, so if you are into that type of stuff, check it out.

I am interested in seeing how this game plays. AJ, you have given it two thumbs up. I wonder if I could find a demo somewhere...
By "sim type game" do you mean The Sims or more like Harvest Moon?

i think it is more Harvest Moon, even though i never really played it much. Basically, you have to restart a city from scratch and Each day only consists of 5 minutes of real life time. I'm on day 44. You build houses, weapon/armor shops, bakeries, Class trainers(i.e. white and black mage training shops), and stuff like that. If you build a house, you get an adventurer. You send your adventurers out into the land to explore and kill bosses. They gain levels like a typical RPG, but you just don't do that part of the game.
It is only $15. I recommend it!

Oh wow! It's like a pc strategy game (it makes me think of Dungeon Keeper for some reason and I LOVED that game) but for the Wii. That sounds awesome

Basically, you play the role of a little king trying to restore his father's kingdom. There is some story to the game, as Cut scenes happen before/after some days. I haven't figured out if it is random, or if it depends on how fast you move.
You make money by taxing your people. So the more houses you build, the more people you have, the more money you make. With your money you have to choose what to fund. Weapon, armor, item research, training for each type of Class, etc. Money being short is my biggest thing, because i don't want to let my adventurers down!
You choose which areas to send your adventurers to, and clearing areas and defeating bosses gives you access to say Building an Inn.
that's the best i can explain it, but it is addicting as fuck.

that sounds like an interesting mix of sim city, civilization, advanced wars and final fantasy. When i can finally afford to buy a Wii, I'm definitely gonna check that out...
