-in the three years before this (he was injured) he scored 10 less goals than crosby.. -most of the league think crosby is a pansy, it's just a matter of opinion.. they're both dangerous. nobody has thought crosby is a pansy since his rookie season. the 'whiner' tag has gone away entirely. um, completely not true. ovechkin just made the comment this season that crosby complains to the refs too much.

Crosby is totally a whiner! Go to a game somewhere other than Pittsburgh and that is all they make fun of him for. In DC they were waving hankies around every time he got pissy about something. I like the guy and I think hes a whiner!

Go read Puck Daddy's blog, all he talks about his Crosby and then the Crosby haters come out.
I don't mind Briere, he's not your stereotypical Flyer.
I've changed my prediction from Pens in 6 to Pens in 3 after watching that romp last night.
Carcillo is a joke.

Carcillo is a joke. plus hartnell clearly has no desire to actually play hockey in this series.... other than those two, i think the rest of the flyers are not typical flyers... lots of skill and finesse... huge turn around from just two years ago.

i think he's a better goalie than biron anyway, and if he had any sort of coaching in his life, he would be a solid nhl starter.

I then reply by saying i hope ovechkin gets hurt/dies in a plane crash. hahahahaha

Who said anything about Crosby? It wasn't me. I was talking about Danny Briere. You know, Danny "completely impotent in last year's playoffs" Briere? I'm about as scared of Danny Briere as I am of Teddy Ruxpin.

and i'm saying if you're going to call briere a pansy, you're going to have to call crosby a pansy, b/c they're physically and statistically similar, and unlike briere, most nhl fans do actually think crosby is a pansy.

is anyone following any of the other series'? if steve mason can shut down the red wings, ANYONE could win the cup this year.

nobody has thought crosby is a pansy since his rookie season. the 'whiner' tag has gone away entirely. that's a very local opinion. have you read any non-pittsburgh blogs or articles? i think you would find the whiner tag is alive and well, in contrast, briere has never really been considered that outside of pittsburgh fans after he started playing for philly. all i'm saying is... it really shows a lot of bias to say that briere is a pansy, and crosby is not.. they're both great finesse players, is all. are you talking about knowledgeable sportswriters, bloggers, etc? or random fan opinion? because i don't give a shit about the latter, and that's the only place i hear any of the 'crosby's a baby' talk any more. and yes, i read non-local sources. that's probably the majority of what i read. and i didn't call briere soft. i didn't mention briere. so, i don't know, have fun arguing with yourself i guess.

i've definitely seen a few knowledgeable writers call crosby out in the past year.. as well as semin and ovechkin, and the pretty well known fact that a lot of players, fans, etc... feel the same.
the briere thing was a reference to another comment

Alright, Crosby's a pansy. Not quite a Briere-class pansy, but a pansy nonetheless. I never said he wasn't.
